Who can apply for Hope Disability Support?
Our services are for individuals with a disability who require access or independent living support. You can apply for a Hope Disability Support Worker job if you are able to help your disabled loved one to access medical appointments, provide transportation for medical appointments, assist with access and independence needs, assist with records and information management, home maintenance, and renovations, assist with financial management, and other services related to access and independence.
What will you do with disabilities?
You will work with the disabled person to identify their needs, and will then work to provide the best support possible. This might include assisting with daily living tasks such as preparing meals, washing, dressing, and going to the toilet, managing medication, managing finances, and managing social appointments.
What you’ll do with our Disability Support Service?
We are looking for candidates who have experience working with disabled people, as well as some experience of a similar role within the healthcare sector. The duties of the job include: Assisting the disabled person with accessing medical appointments, social appointments and transportation for appointments, information management, home maintenance and renovations such as home improvements, house improvements, and renovations to vehicles, managing finances including managing bank accounts, managing benefits, and managing disbursements, managing information including managing medical records and managing GP appointments.
